“Rumble, bubble gurgle.”  That was the sounds of Dr. Ohhira’s hard at work my first few days.  I guess they were busy cleaning up the mess in my gut.  As a child, I spent months on antibiotics to try to get my constant strep throat under control. When I finally had my tonsils out at age 19, the damage from the antibiotics was already done!

Before signing up to review Dr. Ohhira’s I went back and forth about if someone with such a distressed digestive system could use these products. This led me to numerous reviews from extremely satisfied customers. Here is what I learned about the product

  • Dr.  Ohhira’s isn’t new to the market place. It is backed by 25 years of research.
  • The growth process lasts 3-5 years before product development.
  • Probiotics help with a healthy gut, immune health, and nutrient absorption.
  • These gel caps are small and easy to swallow.
  • These probiotics are derived from collecting natural ingredients and are not grown in a lab.

The reviews I read were amazing and many people with IBS have had amazing results. For those suffering from IBS, you know that finding any help is so valuable! Dr. Ohhira’s also has a line of other health products including my favorite a vegan alternative to fish oil.

So you may be wondering how these roducts worked for me. Well since I have a terrible digestive system that is in great need of this probiotic, my reaction to Dr. Ohhira’s was fairly involved. For optimal performance, it takes a full two weeks for the digestive system to balance out. I love being a teacher, but one downfall is the lack of ability to use the facilities! That meant that I couldn’t risk a unsettled gut while working. I had to only take the probiotics on the weekend. So here is where I am, I will be starting my full regiment this summer in hopes for amazing results that keep my system in balance.
